Peanut Butter and Jelly

Today we were all about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!  We chanted a peanut butter hello, we did a peanut butter and jelly activity song, and we read Peanut Butter and Cupcake, by Terry Border about a peanut butter sandwich who meets lots of interesting characters while searching for a friend.  Finally, we played a musical peanut butter and jelly partner game where the children had to find a matching partner to play their instruments.  We had a great time, and it made us all hungry for lunch!

Halloween Music Patterns

A fun game to demonstrate that music makes patterns too!

Print off your favorite holiday characters, designate a "sound" or "voice" for each one, then use them to create your own patterns of your favorite songs.
